Irish Sport Horse imported from Ireland

Sir Galahad

Irish Draught Sport Horse

Dapple grey gelding, 17 hh, born 1994
Sire: Grey Macha, Champion Irish Draught Stallion

Sir Gallahad is a horse with tremendous presence. His impressive stature is combined with an elegant and noble bearing found only in the best of the Irish Draught breed. He has a beautiful and graceful way of going in dressage and over jumps. Sir Gallahad goes on the bit easily and is exceptionally well balanced and "light footed". His jumping style is both smooth and easy, and he has proven to be very honest, careful and athletic over fences. He is exceptionally calm, gentle and well mannered under saddle, on the ground, in the arena or on the trails. He is the perfect gentleman in the hunt field and in everything he does. He moves very smoothly, has wonderful gaits and a soft mouth. He takes care of his rider over jumps; has careful approach, alot of scope and lands smoothly. He would make any rider look great, and feel like royalty. Sir Gallahad's sire, Grey Macha, was the Supreme Champion Irish Draught Stallion at the Royal Dublin Society's National Horse Show. Sir Gallahad has inherited the champion qualities of his sire and is a great ambassador to his breed.
