Irish Dancer, June, 2010

Irish Dancer possesses everything expected from a quality Irish Sport Horse. His conformation, movement and temperament are outstanding. He is responsive to the aids, soft and supple, forward thinking with light and springy movement. Even though this is characteristic of the breed, his superb bloodlines are a major contribution. His sire, Reputed Testamony is an outstanding Thoroughbred. The average American Thoroughbred races 15 times. Reputed Testamony raced 55 times; placed first-third, 26 times; and placed first-third in 10 stakes. He passes on refined conformation, springy movement as well as athleticism to his offspring. His dam, Knockraheen Rua, was superbly built with a gentle temperament and a natural love and trust of human contact. Knockraheen Rua decended from great Irish Draught showjumping lines. Rua has the bloodlines of King of Diamonds and Skippy, both are highly regarded Registered Irish Draught stallions with proven genetic merit for showjumping. Irish Dancer has inherited his dam's temperament and his sire's athleticism.
